Have you ever wondered about the secrets behind our beautiful porch planters and how to care for them? Did you just say ‘yes’? Then join us for our Thriller, Spiller & Filler Porch Planter workshop! Learn about the various plants, how to care for them and how to design the perfect porch planter. We’ll then take that imagination to creation by building your own! We will even throw in a few laughs for good measure.
Plant availability may vary, examples of each category are below.
Thrillers: Colocasia, grasses, etc. Upgrade to Canna’s, Cordyline’s and more for a small fee.
Spiller: Creeping Jenny, Silver Falls, Euphorbia
Filler: Petunia, Begonia, Geranium
Each ticket is $55, and you will receive one (1) 14” planter, planting medium, 1 ‘thriller’ plant, 3 ‘filler’ plants and 3 ‘spiller’ plants. You may bring your own planter; planters over 14” are $3 per inch up to 18” max. Please refrain from bringing tall or oversized containers. Your planter can be created for sun or shade. This workshop is considered beginner and recommended for ages 14+. Space is limited so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended!
