Description
Titus Youtheatre is a unique theatre program where the kids really do run the show!
We have adult mentors who ensure that our students are involved in every aspect of the program.
Our actors, crew members, and directors are students in 3rd-12th grade, and everyone receives a role in a play that will be performed in front of a live audience with costumes, set pieces, and props.
The crew members will learn about and assist with all of the behind the scenes work with costumes, set pieces, props, scenery, and technical aspects.
Our directors are high school students with acting experience. They choose the scripts, run rehearsals and make decisions about costumes, props, set pieces, and scenery.
Rehearsals will be at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bay City on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Directors will start on May 1st, Actors will start on May 6th, and Crew will start on May 13th. You can choose Session 1: 4:00-5:30 or Session 2: 6:00-7:30.
Performances and dress rehearsals will be at the State Theatre in Bay City June 23rd-28th.
Performances will be Friday, June 27th from 6:00-8:00 and Saturday, June 28th from 2:00-4:00. There will be a free will donation at the door.
Registration is now open and will close April 24th or when spots are filled.
