Flower picking, food, drinks and music during golden hour!
Join us for our first Twilight flower picking session for 2025. Wander the flower rows to discover all the colours, scents and beauty from our large and unique range of fresh and organically grown flowers.
Afterwards, bring a picnic blanket to relax on the lawns and soak up the music and festival vibes!. Grab a delicious wood fired gourmet pizza from our guest food van 'Mama Goat and the Pigs'. Picnic platters to share are also available to pre-order. Our pop-up bar will be serving signature floral drinks along with a selection of Tasmanian wine & beer.
Gates open at 5pm and you can arrive anytime between our opening hours. Picking takes approx 1-1.5 hours to complete. Non-picking guests may accompany flower picking guests free of charge.
Harvesting instructions, flower expertise and arranging guidance will be provided from our staff in the field. Please check-in with a staff member for instructions before commencing picking.
Ticket includes snips to loan and a beautiful tin pitcher to take your flowers home in. Returning customers can bring their tin pitcher back for a reduced price ticket (small pitcher base diameter = 110mm / large pitcher base diameter = 130mm). New visitors must purchase a full price picking ticket (which includes a new tin pitcher) before being eligible for the reduced price ticket on their next visit.
This session may be subject to postponement due to inclement weather. Participants will be notified by text or email in the case of cancellation by host. Tickets can then either be transferred to another picking date in our season or a refund issued. Sorry no refunds provided for cancelled tickets or non-attendance. Here at Earthenry we grow over 100 different varieties of gorgeous seasonal flowers all nestled amongst beautiful gardens to explore during our open season events (October to April). Located in Lower Snug we are only a 25 minute drive south of Hobart and 5 mins from the Bruny Island ferry terminal.
From January to March, when our flowers are at their peak, we open weekly for 'Pick Your Own Flowers' and picnics on the lawns. Our Friday night summer twilight sessions with food, drinks and music are our most popular!
You can also book into one of our inspiring creative floral workshops or learn how we grow our flowers by attending one of our practical farming workshops. Our community volunteer gardening program Garden + Gossip runs every Friday during the off-season and welcomes new members!
