Woodland RoadUshaw’s fantastic Flower Festival returns on the weekend of Friday 6, Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 September 2024.
Flower arrangers, flower clubs, florists, students, and other individuals have all come together and volunteered their time to create a fantastic array of displays that fill the wondrous buildings of Ushaw.
This year, flower arrangements have the theme of ‘A Moment in Time’ depicting moments from history; some personal, some national, others international.
Our floral artists are representing all these ideas and more. Why not come along and see what magnificent arrangements they have created?

Join us for an unforgettable evening experience on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 September, as we’re opening our doors from 5pm – 8pm. Offering a unique opportunity to admire our stunning flower arrangements under the lights. Alongside entry to our bar, mezé, and live music, it’s an evening you won’t want to miss!
Please read the following ticket information prior to booking:
- Tickets are non-refundable
- Timeslots can be exchanged once purchased, but please be aware there is a £3 administration charge per booking for this. Please contact tickets@ushaw.org to arrange this.
- Ticket transfers will be closed from Thursday 5 September at 12pm.
– There is no specific end time for your ticket
– The recommended dwell time is between 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes
– Given the high demand for tickets, booking is required for this event (even for Ushaw members/Historic Houses members)
– Admission to Ushaw’s Main House, Gardens & Café is included with your ticket
– Ticket includes parking
– If you have purchased a Members ticket, you will need to show proof of membership upon arrival

– 10am – 1pm
– 1pm – 4pm
– 5pm – 8pm (Friday 6 & Saturday 7 September only, this timeslot includes access to our bar and live music)
