Vinny Montague is excited to be returning to Academy Theatre with his “Through the Decades” concert! He will be performing a mix of original music and covers of some of his favorite artists from 1960 to today--there will be something for everyone! He is no stranger to the Atlanta stage, having been fortunate enough to have been part of many professional productions, including Aurora Theatre, Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Actor’s Express, the Atlanta Opera, OnStage Atlanta, and Horizon Theatre. He is a member of a new choir under the direction of award-winning, renowned composer and director, Dr. B.E. Boykin which debuts on December 12th. Vinny began writing and producing during the Pandemic after theatres closed down and he wasn’t performing. He has since discovered his love for songwriting which goes along with his lifelong love of performing! Vinny is also celebrating his latest EP, “endless enervation (deluxe edition)” which dropped September 29th.
