This All Levels Handbuilding class is suitable for anyone over age 18 who is interested in learning the the many ways of working in clay without a pottery wheel.
Handbuilding, which includes slab building, coiling, and pinching, is a traditional method of creating with clay in which you use your hands and clay (flat, in round strips, or in a ball) instead of a potter's wheel.

Classes are every Wednesday from 6-8:30PM for 6 weeks. Includes 2.5 hours of hands-on instruction each week, use of community tools, clay, and 5 finished pieces each (1 per week).
About your teacher
Audra has been figuring out a way to be in a clay class since she was 8 years old, her true happy place. In her own work, she loves to explore surface design with a print making influence and is excited to help students find their own way in clay!
