Join us for an insightful event focused on the most pressing topics in women’s health today. From navigating the challenges of menopause and perimenopause to understanding the powerful role genetics play in our well-being, this event offers vital insights from sought-after women’s health specialists. We’ll discuss the importance of regular screenings, how to recognize early signs and symptoms, and explore the essential connection between mental health and overall wellness. Gain expert knowledge to empower yourself and those around you with the tools to take charge of your health. 

At the end of the evening, we’ll come together to braid pink challah, a program brought to us by Sharsheret for you to add some pink to your Shabbat table. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

Pink challah dough is naturally dyed with beet juice.

Brief Bios:

Rachel Frankenthal, MMS, PA-C, MPH, MSCP, is a Gynecologic Oncology Physician Associate with a Masters in Public Health. She is driven to provide patient-centered care, offering the highest level of medical care with compassion and a focus on a patient's unique values and goals. Rachel has a deep passion for survivorship and menopause care. She has played an integral role in developing the survivorship program and menopause clinic for survivors at UCLA.  She is a certified menopause practitioner through the Menopause Society and has become an expert in menopause care for gyn cancer survivors and previvors.  

Daniella Menashe, MS, LCGC, is a clinical genetic counselor specializing in hereditary cancer genetics. She has been practicing at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for over 5 years. She graduated from the CSU Stanislaus genetic counseling program in 2018.

Aimee Sax is a Wilshire Boulevard Temple member and Sharsheret Support Program Manager where she provides free, confidential, and personalized support to women and families facing breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and the genetic predispositions towards them.
