Description
Discover your home's history at this month's "What's in the Whitney Library?" program at the New Have Museum. We have a treasure trove of records on many historic homes in the New Haven area. Come see if yours is in the collection during this free event. You may discover who lived in your home, who built it, or how it was originally designed. We'll use resources like city directories, Sanborn maps, and the Arnold Dana Scrapbook Collection to dive into the history of your historic home. No registration needed. Snow date January 27.
The Whitney Library in the New Haven Museum is open to anyone interested in the past of the city of New Haven. With tens of thousands of documents, books, and archives, the Whitney Library is the most expansive collection of New Haven texts in the city.
