Share Viles Arboretum is a free, easily accessible, botanical garden that is open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week. The space include six miles of trails, 20 botanical collections, and local stone art works (all marked and signed), on 224 acres.
Description
Have you been missing the willow tunnel at the Arboretum? Now is your chance to get involved in constructing a new top for the tunnel by weaving the willow shoots together.
This is a great opportunity to help bring back one of the most iconic features of the Arboretum, and to learn about making a willow tunnel for your own backyard.
If you have pruners or a step ladder of your own, they will be useful for this project. Please dress accordingly for the weather.
