Wine Class - The Wines of Portugal

Description

After hosting nearly 50 students in The Bighorn's Wine 101 classes, we've decided we will offer more in-depth classes that are region specific. And we are thrilled to lean into the theme of Portugal - one of the most well kept secrets in the world for affordable wine that overdelivers - for this wine class. 

In this structured wine class guests will: 

• Learn about the importance of Portugal as a wine country.
• Learn about the predominate and indigenous grape(s), and how they are produced, bottled and labeled differently.
• Taste through 6-9 different wines from Portugal, all while viewing photos of the wine country that will have you planning your next vacation.
• Learn how to taste wine like a pro.
• Have a lot of fun.

 

Our first region specific class was in such high demand, that we've decided to open this wine class up and make it available on two different dates.  There is a Wednesday evening class where The Bighorn will be closed to the public, and a Saturday afternoon class where The Bighorn will be open to the public but the class size will be limited to the first 20 people.
