79 High StreetOur Heritage Winter Dinner takes you on a journey through time to dine in an almost 200 year old stone building with a restored wood-fired Scotch bakes oven. Enjoy the ambiance and spectacle of a sumptuous 4 course feast cooked by fire featuring Tasmania's finest seasonal produce.
In Oatlands our event will be held in the Commissariat, an almost 200 year old stone building that was originally built of sandstone atop a steep slope to house provisions for the military and convicts. The Southern Midlands Council has lovingly restored the building and the wood-fired Scotch oven, which we will be using to prepare an intimate, sumptuous 4 course feast.
The ticket price includes 4 courses prepared with the finest seasonal Tasmanian produce all prepared and cooked in the historic wood-fired Scotch oven.
A premium drinks package is available if you would like to enjoy a selection of matched Tasmanian wines and spirits. Drinks will also be available for individual purchase on the night.
Coach services will be made available to and from several Heartlands locations if you would prefer not to drive.
