At our Winter Comfort Food Experience we share the secrets of low and slow techniques like braises roasts, soups & stews and the best ways to implement slow cooking in your home for some extra layers of comfort. We share what produce is in season during Winter in Tasmania, how to layer flavour over time and we prepare a heavenly 3 course meal featuring premium Tasmanian produce. You will then be able to enjoy a wonderful comforting meal together over a glass or two of Tasmanian wine as reward for your efforts.
All whilst enjoying the Heritage grounds of Rathmore Tasmania.
We have added a partners lunch only ticket, if you would like to bring your partner for the day and have them join us for lunch to enjoy the results of our efforts. They are welcome to purchase a ticket attend the cooking class, but if there preference is to join us for lunch only, then this option is available. Lunch is 3 winter comfort slow-cooked courses with accompanying Tasmanian wines.
