WINTER FORMAL 2025

Who: All 10th-12th grade students

Where: ARTIC, 2626 E Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806

When: Saturday, January 25, 2025; 7:00pm-10:00pm (all students must be checked in by 8:00 pm and nobody may leave before 9:00 pm)

Tickets:
Early Access: 11/19/24-12/5/24 at 3:00pm ASB Members $85 / Non ASB Members and guest $115
Regular: 12/5/24 - 1/6/25 at 3:00pm  ASB Members $120 / Non ASB Members and guest $150
Late:  1/6/25 - 1/10/25 at 3:00pm  ASB Members $155 / Non ASB Members and guest $185
 

 

All students must check in by 8:00 pm with their current SMCHS ID card. 

Non-SMCHS students (guests) must check in with their SMCHS date by 8:00 pm with a valid student/government ID.

 

Attendees will not be allowed to leave the dance before 9:00 pm.

Guest Ticket Information:
Any non-SMCHS student attending the SMCHS Winter Formal, must be the invited guest of a sophomore, junior, or senior student at SMCHS. Non-SMCHS students must have a "Guest Ticket" for entry.  Any ticket, other than a "Guest Ticket" used by a non-SMCHS student will be voided and ineligible for a refund. Additionally all students entering the dance with a "Guest Ticket" must have a completed guest contract on file with the Activities office by 3:00pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025. DRESS CODE

All attire must be modest and appropriate for a Catholic Christian environment. Winter Formal is considered a formal dance, and thus you are expected to follow the SMCHS guidelines for formal attire. Students and their guests must adhere to the following dress code. It is the responsibility of the SMCHS student to clearly communicate these guidelines to their guests if they do not attend SMCHS. SMCHS and the event venue requires that attendees keep their shoes on during the dance. Attendees may wear sneakers (i.e. Converse, Toms, etc.).

Men: 

• Full tuxedo or formal suit must be worn at entrance (no denim or leather) 
• Dress shoes (hard soled) or sneakers (i.e. Converse, Toms, etc.) and socks 
• Hair well-groomed 
• Dress shirts and shoes must be worn at all timesDress shirt with tie (mandatory)

Women:
Any modifications / alterations of a dress or jumpsuit, (that includes safety pins, tape, etc.), will not be approved.

• Dresses must be knee length or longer.
• Slits on the dress can be no higher than 6 inches above the knee,
• Dress length is measured from the bottom of solid material 
• Slips and/or sheer extensions are not considered part of dress length 
• Any modifications / alterations of a dress or jumpsuit, (that includes safety pins, tape, etc.), will not be approved. 
• Modest cleavage, no plunging necklines, no plunging backs and visible bandeaus not allowed. 
• No bare midriffs or cutouts 
• Bandage/body conforming, stretchy skirts/dresses made out of material such as lycra, spandex, or similar material are prohibited. 
• Dress shoes/dress sandals or sneakers (i.e. Converse, Toms, etc.) are required and must be worn at all times.
