NATURE + ELLES : The West Kootenays Francophone Association (AFKO) invites viewers to go behind the scenes of the Franc Ouest podcast series. Directed by Jackie Atkins, the film offers an authentic experience as host Patrick Lac meets 11 francophone women who are passionate about the outdoors in the West Kootenays. Through poignant stories and breathtaking shots, the short film highlights environmental commitment, gender equality in sports and the challenges faced by women in the outdoor industry. Featuring Sarah Meunier of Castlegar Parks and Trails, Julie-Ann Chapman of She Shreds Mountain Adventures and Stéphanie Dupont of Muddbunnies Rossland.
