Description
Come spend an afternoon with us and learn all about the magical and exciting world of miniature works of art that are meant for trade: Artist Trading Cards (ATC’s) and help us kick off our new community project! In this class participants will learn about what ATC’s are, work with a variety of supplies to create their own, and exchange them with fellow artists at the end of class. In addition, Spare Parts will be unveiling a new community project - an ATC exchange wall, where participants can take a card, leave a card.
All materials provided and participants will be given a starter pack of 10 cards. Participants are welcome to bring any collage materials and mixed media materials they’d like to use. No experience with collage or mixed media required.

Tickets must be purchased online at least 12 hours before the workshop. No walk-ins. Space is limited. Tickets are non refundable so please plan accordingly before purchasing. Please have email confirmation / ticket readily available upon arrival. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Attendees may bring non messy snacks and drinks in sealable containers. Please note that photographs will be taken throughout this workshop. These may be used by Spare Parts for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media or in any third party publication. This workshop is eligible for NEISD Teacher's Choice continuing Education Hours. To obtain a certificate please ask a team member for one during the workshop.
