Description
There are different ways to collect inspirational pieces, whether they be business cards, labels, scraps of paper, photos, etc. You can put them on a corkboard or pin them to a wall, but why not create a flip through book that you can take anywhere with you and fill as you go? In this class, using the Peaks and Valleys technique, participants will learn how to recycle materials and turn a simple set of book covers into a book they can fill on the go with the things that inspire them. The class will also cover the use of glue books for scraps and participants will leave with a complete project ready for use, along with instructions to make future books.
No bookbinding experience needed. Students should feel free to bring their preferred supplies and anything they’d like to add to their book. All materials otherwise provided.

Tickets must be purchased online at least 12 hours before the workshop. No walk-ins. Space is limited. Tickets are non refundable so please plan accordingly before purchasing. Please have email confirmation / ticket readily available upon arrival. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Attendees may bring non messy snacks and drinks in sealable containers. Please note that photographs will be taken throughout this workshop. These may be used by Spare Parts for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media or in any third party publication.
