Are you intrigued by the process of creating your own handmade books? Join us for a fun journey into the art of bookbinding where we learn about different styles and bindings of books, the tools and materials needed to create our own books, and how to make simple starter books.
In this introductory class, participants will be guided through the start to finish steps of bookbinding and by the end of the class, participants will not only have the foundational knowledge and skills of bookbinding but will also leave with two completed book projects.
Whether you're a seasoned artisan or a curious beginner, this class offers a welcoming environment for all enthusiasts to explore the timeless art of bookbinding and ignite their passion for craftsmanship.
Join us and embark on a journey of discovery as we uncover the artistry, tradition, and magic of handmade books in our Introduction to Bookbinding class.
No bookbinding experience needed. Each participant will receive a starter bookbinding kit and instruction sheets for future use.
