Description
Do you have clothes with tears or holes, but you just can’t bear to get rid of them? Well you’re in luck! Join local artist Oliver Lyric for a session on how to visibly mend your own clothes! In this workshop Oliver will be teaching multiple techniques for visibly mending clothing. You will learn how to patch holes, stitch up tears, and darn! If you’re new to hand sewing, no worries! Oliver will be going over all the basics as well as the basic stitches and techniques you’ll need to jumpstart your mending journey. Samples will be provided for you to learn the techniques on, but you are highly encouraged to bring your own clothing to mend!
Students are encouraged to bring their own clothing items for mending, but there will be supplies for practice in class. All materials provided.

Tickets must be purchased online at least 12 hours before the workshop. No walk-ins. Space is limited. Tickets are non refundable so please plan accordingly before purchasing. Please have email confirmation / ticket readily available upon arrival. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Attendees may bring non messy snacks and drinks in sealable containers. Please note that photographs will be taken throughout this workshop. These may be used by Spare Parts for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media or in any third party publication.
