WWNO's Sea Change is bringing the show live on March 19th at the Broadside, 600 North Broad Avenue in New Orleans.

Join Hosts, Carlyle Calhoun and Halle Parker, along with a panel of experts, as they dive deep into something transforming our area: home insurance. They’ll talk about what’s making rates go up, what that means for everyone — not just homeowners — and what the potential solutions are to what’s shaping up to be a climate-fueled insurance crisis.

Sea Change Live will provide you with facts, stats and stories that illuminate, inspire, and sometimes enrage, but above all, remind us why we must work together to solve the issues facing our changing world.

The show will be recorded live with a studio audience and released for broadcast on WWNO 89.9 as well as a downloadable podcast. Come be a part of our audience and enjoy live music, a happy hour and post show reception.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
      We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed.
     
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for  The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  •  We have a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, if you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
