YCCM & Friends Choral Festival

Description

Join us for an unforgettable musical experience at the YCCM & Friends Choral Festival, where alumni, current members, and friends of YCCM will come together to rehearse and perform Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living. This inspiring choral work offers a profound and moving journey through sorrow, hope, and peace, brought to life with a full orchestra.

Rehearsals will take place throughout June, both in-person and through recorded sessions, allowing participants to prepare at their own pace. The festival weekend, June 27-28, 2025, will feature immersive rehearsals, community-building opportunities, and a culminating performance.

Registration includes a festival t-shirt and light breakfast on Saturday.

Pre-Festival Rehearsals (live and streamed, dates tentative):

• Thursday, June 12, 6-9pm - SJU Choir Room
• Tuesday, June 17,  6-9 pm - SJU Choir Room
• Local singers are highly encouraged to attend these rehearsals; dates will be finalized in early April. Singers outside of Central Minnesota will be able to stream the rehearsals;
