Hello Friends. So many businesses and people have stepped up to help us get back on our feet. In the darkest days, this has been the silver lining we’ve been clinging to. Kindness and generosity have reared their beautiful faces when all else has been lost, and they have served as our metaphorical lifeline.
Recently, our friends up the road at Salt Face Mule reached out with a fun opportunity to help us fundraise. “Fun.” It sounds like an ancient concept these days. One of those words that’s lost its meaning for having said it too many times in a row. But it’s something we all need. So let’s do it together.
On November 30th, we’ll be taking to their mini golf courses for some competition, food, a chance at some prizes, and most importantly, some Fun in the name of a good cause. Teams of 4 will tee off on the 18-hole course at 9am. There will be Salt Face Mule gift cards waiting for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, as well as a voucher for a free round of mini golf for all participants that can be used at a later point in time. Also included with your ticket is one beer and a visit to a burger buffet (there will be a vegetarian option available as well). When the tournament wraps up, Salt Face Mule will be hosting a Maker’s Market for Small Business Saturday. Stick around, enjoy more beer, and support local doers and makers.
Each team will consist of 4 players. Tickets are $75 per person. Grab 3 friends and buy tickets together, or singles can be teamed up that morning.
It’s been a while. Let’s hang out and have some Fun.
(PS- We are also looking for sponsors. Sponsorships are $100 per hole, and that hole will have a sign with your name and logo. If you’re interested, please email us info@zillicoahbeer.com by 11/20.)
The product of 10+ years of dedication, curiosity, and a furious, passionate obsession with fermentation.
Our brewery sits on 4 acres of riverfront land just 2 miles outside Downtown Asheville. With us, you can enjoy one of the best views of the serene French Broad River with a beer in hand. We specialize in open fermented lager as well as open fermented farmhouse beer – a dichotomy that keeps us both grounded in tradition as well as pushing our own envelope.
