Description

Join us for some Holiday fun for our guests with different abilities to enjoy the zoo without the crowds, loud music and flashing lights! This event will benefit children that would do better in a smaller-scale, calmer event setting. The Zoo has partnered with the Psychology Department at Salisbury University to host this event. A limited number of tickets are available for Zoothing Lights.

Stroll our new twinkling light trails, visit Santa Claus in his Christmas cottage and create a special gift to be wrapped for a special someone.

Dress to be outside! This event will be held outside, and it will be dark. Please feel free to bring a flashlight for your family (phone flashlights are not permitted). Before you walk, we will equip each family with a red film to place over their flashlight. This is to protect our animals while you walk. One film will be provided to each family, as the quantity is limited. Only red lights will be permitted on the walk.

For more information, contact our Guest Services Department.

Tickets are $10 per participating child / guests with sensory needs. Parents and children 2 & under are free. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate.

Space is limited!

Salisbury Zoo

The Salisbury Zoo, located in Salisbury, Maryland, was founded in 1954 when some animals were placed on permanent exhibition in the City Park. The Zoo now provides naturalistic enclosures for species native to North, Central and South America. The Salisbury Zoo’s paved pathways and ramped boardwalks make the Zoo very accessible. Restrooms are equipped with changing tables and are ADA-compliant.
